Snow Buddy Sled Dog Adventures

Snow Buddy runs sled dog tours up Dunckley Pass south of Steamboat Springs, with trips ranging from a short intro loop to a 20-mile back-country run. Teams of Alaskan and Siberian huskies pull through aspen groves and open meadows with panoramic views of the Flat Tops Wilderness. The four-hour full-day experience includes kennel time, musher instruction, the ride itself, and hot drinks around the fire. Shorter options run about two hours. Based in Oak Creek, roughly a half-hour drive from downtown.
