Haymaker Golf Course is a Keith Foster-designed, links-style eighteen-hole layout on the east side of Steamboat Springs, stretching from 5,059 to 7,308 yards across rolling sagebrush meadows with the Flat Tops mountains on the horizon. The course is an Audubon Signature Sanctuary, built on former ranchland with wide fairways, native grass roughs, and firm, undulating greens. The clubhouse has a pro shop, restaurant, and bar. The course runs early May through early November. Tee times are recommended in peak summer and fall-color season.

Overview
What's great
Links In The Rockies
A genuine links layout with fast greens and big-sky Yampa Valley vistas on every hole.
What's unique
7000 Foot Links
The ball flies at 7000 feet over a treeless Keith Foster design, unusual for mountain Colorado.
What's worth knowing
Pace Is Strict
Marshals enforce a four-player, four-hour rhythm, so groups of five should call the pro ahead.
