Grizzle-T runs working Alaskan huskies on a 12.5-mile groomed trail above Steamboat Springs, led by two-time Yukon Quest veteran Dan Kaduce. Guests ride in the sled basket or, with extra training, drive their own team. The kennel is home to around 40 dogs bred and raised for long-distance racing. Each tour includes roughly two hours on the sled plus meet-the-dogs time at the kennel. Trails climb through aspen and spruce with distant views of the Park Range, and hot drinks wait at the cabin on return.
