Kaile’a Coffee Co.

Set up in a converted horse trailer beside the Mount Hood Railroad depot in Cascade Locks, Kaile'a pours espresso from locally roasted beans and homemade syrups, plus hand-shaken lemonades and superfood lattes in beet, blue spirulina, matcha and golden. The Hawaiian name means "Sea of Joy," a nod to owner Shawna's vision and the Columbia River just beyond the window. Liege waffles hit a hot iron all day, and acai and pink pitaya smoothie bowls arrive piled with fruit, granola and coconut. Grab a treat and settle into the sunny yard overlooking the Gorge.
