Blue Cactus started slinging tacos on the Ocean City boardwalk in 2017, first at 12th Street and then at 10th, before the Stokes family moved it in 2025 to a renovated space at 928 Haven Avenue, a few blocks off the boards. Chris Stokes trained at The Restaurant School at Walnut Hill College, and California road trips shaped the menu: made-to-order tacos sold single or by the bundle, from al pastor with grilled pineapple to shrimp and mahi, plus birria, taco bowls, burritos and nachos with homemade salsas and a mango habanero sauce.
