Ocean City Coffee Company
Roasted-on-the-beach coffee at 10th and Boardwalk
Dessert | Ocean City, NJ | $$$$
Polish Water Ice started in Tom Curyto's West Chester kitchen and opened its first stand on the Ocean City boardwalk in 1997, where lines turned a hobby into a franchise. This one sits at 1068 Boardwalk just past 10th Street, one of two on the OC boards. The product is not Italian ice: it comes out of a soft-serve machine, made fresh to order, smooth and custard-like yet fat, dairy and cholesterol free, in 23 flavors from mango and blue raspberry to mokaccino and Sweetish Fish, and you can mix any two in a cup. The Polish Freeze layers it with soft serve and the Ice Cap pours it over soda. Summer hours run 10am to midnight.
*Hours subject to change.
