Western Antique Aeroplane & Automobile Museum

One of the country's largest collections of still-flying antique aeroplanes and still-driving antique automobiles fills more than 3.5 acres of indoor hangar space beside Ken Jernstedt Airfield. Aircraft, motorcycles, tractors, military jeeps and engines sit side by side, many restored to running condition. Docent-trained volunteers explain the machines throughout the galleries. On the second Saturday of each month the big hangar doors open and visitors watch antique planes take off and ride in vintage cars. Allow a couple of hours to take it all in.
