Owner-operator Sam Sickles started this guide service in 2011 and has grown it into the busiest fly-fishing outfit in the Columbia River Gorge. The home water is the famed Lower Deschutes, run by jet boat to put one or two anglers on the best summer-steelhead lies at the right time, with John Day, Sandy, and Washington's Klickitat rounding out the calendar. Top-level Spey gear and hands-on instruction are included, and Sam coaches everyone from first-timers to experts. Multi-day camp trips add cots, tents, and three meals a day riverside. A USCG-licensed, insured guide stacks the odds in your favor.
