Hood River Fruit Loop
Self-guided orchard and farmstand drive
Hood River, OR | active | 4 to 8 hours

The largest ski resort on Mount Hood, spread across both Alpine and Nordic terrain along Oregon Route 35, about 35 miles from Hood River. Groomed cruisers, steep black-diamond pitches in Heather Canyon and the Private Reserve, plus a full slate of lessons and rentals cover every ability. Night skiing extends the day under the lights, and chairlifts fan out across several ridges to spread out the crowds. Come summer, the lifts reopen for scenic chair rides and high-alpine hiking with weekend events at the base.
