Kiyokawa Family Orchards

Pick from the largest u-pick in the Hood River Valley at a farm rooted here since 1911, when third-generation orchardist Randy Kiyokawa's grandfather emigrated from Japan and began working the land at the base of Mt. Hood. Glacier-fed water and fertile volcanic soil yield over 150 varieties of apples, pears, Asian pears, cherries, and stone fruit. Wander the rows for cherries and pluerries in summer, then apples and pears deep into fall. The marketplace stocks pre-picked fruit, local honey, jams, and fresh cider, and kids burn energy in an authentic bin fort. Bring your own containers and a wagon; leashed dogs are welcome in the u-pick.
