Hood River Fruit Loop
Self-guided orchard and farmstand drive
Hood River, OR | leisure | 1 to 2 hours

When the open-air season ends, the Gorge's only year-round farmers market moves indoors to the covered vestibule of Ferment Brewing Company on the Hood River waterfront. A program of the nonprofit Gorge Grown Food Network, it keeps local farmers, ranchers, fishers, and food artisans connected to the community through the cold months. Expect seasonal produce, humanely raised meat and eggs, Columbia River salmon, and a rotation of preserves, breads, and crafts. SNAP benefits are tripled at the info booth, and free parking sits just south of the market. It runs first and third Saturdays from December through April, a warm stop near the river.
