Set at the eastern end of the Historic Columbia River Highway, this shaded park marks the close of the Gorge's celebrated Waterfall Corridor, the run that strings together Latourell, Bridal Veil, Wahkeena, Multnomah and Horsetail Falls. The forested grounds make an ideal jumping-off point for a day of cascades. From roadside parking a half mile west of the campground, trails reach the Gorge 400 Trail and the Horsetail Falls path, with picnic tables and a restroom on hand. A working rail line runs nearby day and night, so expect the occasional train horn between hikes.
