Steakhouse | Vail, CO | $$$$

Lancelot has been slow-roasting prime rib on East Gore Creek Drive in Vail since 1969 — making it one of the oldest continuously operating restaurants in the entire resort. The menu stays faithful to its chophouse roots: USDA prime rib in Lancelot, Queen, and King cuts, certified choice steaks, fresh seafood, and the famous New England Clam Chowder. Side dishes are classic and generous. The dining room has a warm, dark-wood steakhouse atmosphere that feels unchanged by fashion, and the bar opens nightly at 5pm for cocktails before dinner. Closed Mondays. Reservations recommended.
