Big Water Fish Market at 6641 Midnight Pass Road opened on 11/11/11 and has been Siesta Key's most credible seafood source since — part retail fish market, part casual restaurant, serving locally wild-caught Florida grouper, snapper, hogfish, mahi, and Gulf shrimp prepared while you watch or packaged to take home. The restaurant side runs fried grouper bites, steamed clams, calamari, and gator bites alongside the market's daily catch. Beer and wine available. Monday through Thursday and Sunday until 9pm, Fridays and Saturdays until 10pm. A uniquely versatile stop — you can buy fresh fish or eat it there, depending on whether your rental.
