Osaki's
Daily-sourced fish from Japan, intimate omakase
Austrian | Vail, CO | $$$$

One of Vail's most enduring dining traditions, Alpenrose at 100 East Meadow Drive has been serving authentic Austrian cuisine since 1974. The kitchen turns out classic Alpine dishes — hearty beef goulash, Wiener Schnitzel, Kässpätzle egg noodles with melted cheese, raclette, and warm desserts like apple strudel, Marillenknödel, and Palatschinken crêpes. The wood-paneled dining room feels genuinely Tyrolean, and the patisserie side produces pastries and cakes that are worth a visit on their own. A Vail Village institution beloved by return visitors and locals alike. Closed Mondays; lunch and dinner Tuesday through Sunday.
