SHARC Aquatics & Recreation
Resort-style aquatic park with indoor and outdoor pools
Bend, OR | active | 1 to 3 hours

Suttle Lake, off US Highway 20 near Sisters in the Deschutes National Forest, offers a peaceful winter escape for snowshoers exploring the forested shoreline of this glacially carved lake. A 3.5-mile loop circumnavigates the lake through old-growth pine and fir, with periodic lake views and quiet backcountry ambiance. The area draws far fewer winter visitors than the Century Drive sno-parks, making it a good choice for solitude seekers. A Northwest Forest Pass or America the Beautiful pass is required for vehicle parking at the trailhead. Snowshoe rentals are not available on-site — bring your own or rent from Sisters outfitters before.
