The Crooked River Roundup is Prineville's signature PRCA rodeo, branded as the 'Cowboy Capital of Oregon' event and held each June at Crook County Fairgrounds on South Main Street. The 2026 rodeo runs June 25–27, followed by horse racing July 15–18 at the same grounds. A grand parade rolls through downtown Prineville on June 27, adding a Main Street festival dimension to the weekend. The fairgrounds arena seats a spirited crowd for bull riding, bareback, saddle bronc, barrel racing, and calf roping under the open sky. Tickets are available online only through the official site.
