Snow King Mountain Resort is Jackson's closest ski area — just six blocks from the Town Square — and a year-round outdoor destination. In winter, 500 skiable acres and 1,571 feet of vertical drop deliver everything from groomed beginner terrain to steep expert chutes, with night skiing available. Summer transforms the mountain into an adventure park: a new 8-passenger gondola, mountain coaster, treetop adventure course, zip lines, alpine slide, mini-golf, and bungee trampoline. Lift tickets start at $65; a summer Big King Ultimate pass accesses all activities for $200. The Snow King Observatory and Planetarium sit at the summit.
