Thal Glass Studio in Wilson is Wyoming's only glass gallery and working glassblowing studio, where Laurie Thal has been perfecting the craft since 1975. The gallery displays an evolving collection of mouth-blown and sculpted glass works, from sculptural vessels to functional pieces. In June and July, the studio is open every Saturday from 10am–5pm; at all other times, visits are by appointment. Watching a skilled glassblower at work is an unforgettable experience — call ahead at (307) 690-2491 to arrange a visit and potentially catch Laurie at the torch.
