Snow King Observatory & Planetarium is the only mountaintop planetarium in the United States, perched at the summit of Snow King Mountain in downtown Jackson. The 37-seat 360° dome hosts daytime shows exploring the solar system and cosmos. At night, a 1-meter primary mirror Planewave telescope opens for stargazing in some of Wyoming's darkest skies — just blocks from the Town Square. Daytime experience tickets are $35 without the gondola, $60 with a scenic gondola ride; nighttime sessions run 9pm–12am and require a separate reservation.
