Mountain Coaster at Wisp Resort
Deep Creek Lake, MD | active | 0.5 hours
The Mountain Coaster at Wisp Resort is the Mid-Atlantic's only mountain coaster, operating year-round alongside the ski slopes in winter and summer scenery in warm months. Riders control their own speed as the coaster cart descends the mountainside through turns and straightaways with panoramic views of Deep Creek Lake below. The experience is thrilling enough for adults and gentle enough for children with a minimum height requirement. A single ride is quick but memorable — combining speed, scenery, and the novelty of a coaster built into a genuine ski mountain.
