Autumn Glory Festival is Garrett County's signature annual celebration of fall foliage, held each October for five days centered on a grand Saturday parade through downtown Oakland. The 2026 festival runs October 7–11, with the Autumn Glory Grand Feature Parade on October 10 at 1pm on Omar Street in Oakland. Events include craft shows, live music, a farmers market, fall foliage driving tours, and special performances across the greater Deep Creek Lake area. A beloved community tradition drawing visitors from across the Mid-Atlantic for nearly 60 years.
