A run down beach house. Stained rugs, duct taped floor boards, bulbs out in every other lamp, pool and hot tub ran on same temp so either too hot or too cold, broken beach equipment. The biggest thing was no outside lighting, literally one single dim light at the top of the stairs by the door. No light out front, in the garage/downstairs area. Bottom of stairs was SUPER dark. We had our two young children with us and it was hard to get them out of their seats and in the house on later nights out…

Overall, good. Bathroom sinks drain slowly. Shower light was out. Two of three plastic chairs around the pool were broken. One collapsed while my daughter was in it (she’s fine!) Otherwise, as advertised and a great location to a quiet, relaxing beach. (In all fairness, the items were so minimal that I didn’t report them)
Kate
Incredible location wise. Had a great week.

We stayed for a week with our parents and 3 small children. The pool and hottub were nice and heated. The house clean and exactly like the pictures. A short walk to the beach. We can’t wait to go back again next year!

I struggled between 3 and 4 stars. The location is incredible. The beach is super close and feels private. Other beach areas were packed but here was nearly empty the whole time. On the downside like many of the other reviews the hot tub didn’t work. We tried communicating to get it fixed and they said they would send someone more than once. We were happily reimbursed for this inconvenience. It’s just a bummer because it was one of the main reasons we booked it. Additionally, if you want to cont…

Great location. The beach is literally down the street. The beach was never crowded in this area. Sea turtles and manatees in the area were amazing. The “no-see-ums” insects are really heavy in this area. Bring your bug repellent and sunscreen and you will be fine. The house was well kept and we loved our stay. I do believe there is some raccoons around but they didn’t bother us at all. They only came out at night. Would 10/10 recommend this property to anyone.
