Planker Sandwiches on NW Wall Street is one of downtown Bend's most dedicated lunch spots — a kitchen built entirely around the craft of a great sandwich, executed on oversized artisan breads with house-roasted meats and full-flavored additions. The BLTA, Cuban-style pulled pork, roasted turkey, and thick-cut bacon and gorgonzola builds have earned Planker its loyal following, while pickled onions, apple currant chutney, and avocado add the finishing touches that separate a good sandwich from a great one. Open Tuesday through Saturday 10am to 5pm only, closed Sunday and Monday.
