Grande Mere Inn is a family owned and operated restaurant started in 1980 by Pete and Nancy Racine. The tradition of fine quality continues with their son Charley and his wife Tricia. The goal of the Racines has always been to provide a pleasurable dining experience; providing high quality food, friendly service, and a stunning view of Lake Michigan. Our dinner menu includes top quality steaks, lake perch, walleye, ribs, chicken, duck and seafood, as well as burgers and more casual fare. Soups, breads, dressings, sauces and desserts are made in house daily. We are fortunate to be located in the fruit belt of Michigan and to be on the Southwest Michigan wine trail. We avidly support our local wineries, brew makers, cheese makers and many farmers who produce a vast array of fruits and vegetables.
