The Siesta Key Drum Circle is a beloved community ritual that has gathered on Siesta Beach every Sunday at sunset since 1996. A core group of 20 or more percussionists anchors the event, and hundreds of spectators and spontaneous participants join in — with crowds during season sometimes reaching over a thousand. Anyone can bring an instrument or simply watch and dance. The circle forms between lifeguard stands 3 and 4 on the south end of the main Siesta Beach pavilion. Free to attend, free to participate, with no schedule beyond the setting sun.
