Sawtooth Mountain Guides has led climbers, hikers, and backcountry skiers through Idaho's most dramatic terrain since 1985. The only AMGA-accredited guide service in Idaho, SMG operates across a vast permit area spanning the Sawtooth, Lost River, Boulder, and Pioneer Mountains. Summer trips include introductory rock climbing, multi-pitch routes, peak ascents, day hikes, and multi-day backpacking — all equipment provided. Winter brings guided powder skiing, ski mountaineering, avalanche education, and catered hut trips at the Williams Peak Hut. Family and custom corporate programs available. Book early.
