The Sawtooth Botanical Garden is a five-acre sanctuary in Ketchum connecting visitors to south-central Idaho's unique ecology. Five garden zones represent the Sagebrush Steppe, Lava, Alpine, Montane, and Riparian biomes of the region. Special spaces include the Sawtooth Sandbox children's area and the only Dalai Lama-blessed prayer wheel in the United States. The Visitor Center is open Memorial Day through first Sunday in October, Monday-Saturday 9am-5pm. Grounds are open dawn to dusk year-round. Admission $7; free for kids, veterans, seniors 65+, and members.
