The playground uses natural timber, boulders, climbing logs, a slide embedded in the hillside, and a rope bridge over a dry creek, all themed to the surrounding Rocky Mountain landscape. Picnic tables, restrooms, and a paved riverside path make it easy to combine with a Blue River walk. Recognized by Colorado Lottery Starburst as an exemplary community project.
