Locally owned and based in Bend, this outfitter runs guided and self-guided backcountry rides from three staging areas: high-country trails near Sisters beneath the Cascades, the Millican Plateau's juniper-and-lava high desert east of town, and winter snowmobile routes through Newberry National Volcanic Monument out of Sunriver. Tours run 2, 4, or 8 hours in brand-new Polaris RZRs and five-seat Xpedition cabs with helmets, goggles, and GPS included. The four-hour Black Sands tour crosses volcanic sand dunes and alpine lakes; expect dust, and plan a 25 to 45 minute drive from Bend to the trailhead.
