National Repertory Orchestra

The National Repertory Orchestra is a tuition-free summer fellowship for 80 aspiring professional musicians, based at the Riverwalk Center in Breckenridge since 1993. Founded in 1960, the program runs eight weeks each summer under Music Director Michael Stern. The orchestra performs two full concerts a week at the Riverwalk Center, plus community concerts in Dillon, Silverthorne and Frisco. Programming covers classical masterworks, film scores in concert like Jurassic Park, pops nights, and a free Family and Kids Concert.
