The Heber Valley Railroad, known locally as the Heber Creeper, operates historic steam and diesel locomotives on a scenic route through Provo Canyon and along Deer Creek Reservoir. The flagship Deer Creek Express offers a 90-minute round trip with panoramic valley views and on-board entertainment, departing most days at 1pm and 3:30pm. Special trains run year-round: Star Wars Fan Train, Wine Tasting Train, Princess & Pirate Train, and the beloved North Pole Express in winter. Arrive at least 30 minutes before departure; seating is assigned, so contact the ticket office in advance if riding with a separate order.
