Christina Potters Outdoor Ice Rink at Atkinson Park is the largest non-refrigerated outdoor ice rink in the Pacific Northwest — a nearly two-acre expanse of human-made ice in the heart of Ketchum. Entirely free to the public, the rink opens around the December holidays and closes near Presidents' Week in mid-February, weather permitting. Skates, helmets, hockey sticks, pucks, and balance assists are all available at no charge. Off-street parking and restrooms on site. A beloved community tradition, the rink draws families, local leagues, and visitors looking for an afternoon of authentic Idaho winter fun.
