Isak Heartstone is a 15-foot wooden troll hand-built from reclaimed timber by Danish artist Thomas Dambo. Commissioned by BreckCreate during the 2018 Breckenridge International Festival of the Arts, he now sits along the Trollstigen Trail behind the Stephen C. West Ice Arena, a short uphill walk from the trailhead on Boreas Pass Road. The hike is family-friendly and free. Park at the ice arena lot, follow the signed path, and bring a camera; the troll is one of Breck's most-photographed sights.
