Breckenridge Stables has operated on the Ten Mile Range above town since 1976, with more than 100 horses matched to each rider by age and ability. The classic 90-minute trail ride climbs between Peaks 9 and 10, passing beaver ponds, river crossings, and panoramic Continental Divide views. Breakfast rides leave Wednesdays and Fridays, dinner rides leave Thursdays and Saturdays, and a sleigh-ride operation runs in winter at Peak 9 and Gold Run Nordic Center. Helmets and a mounting platform on site make getting in the saddle easy.
