We spent the Christmas week at Hillside Haven. The home was beautiful. The location was perfect, close to Bend town centre and the ski resort. The house was brand new as was the furnishings and appliances, so the cleanliness and quality were outstanding.
The flow of the house was perfect for our needs, we did use the sleeping space on the top landing and the front downstairs study/bedroom. The sleeping space on the top landing was a little open and the TV was there too. That aside we would tota…

•Dream home, super comfortable, lots of amenities in terms of cooking and entertainment
•The thermostat was hard to figure out…maybe a quick info sheet on how to use it would be cool
•the rental co. was great to work with to let us back in and reset the code in minutes
•Saw some valley quail in your backyard, awesome
•I wish I'd have been there the whole time vs on the road running

Great spot! Only 2 companies- 1 was that there were no amenities such as shampoo, conditioner and soap. Also online it says that it was only .25 miles away from downtown but turned out to be more than that. But a beautiful home with plenty of space!

Im giving this house a 5 star rating because 4.8 isn't available. Quite frankly we loved the house. The PROS are numerous from the spacious kitchen area to the quiet location. But there are a few CONS. The cons are NOT deal breakers just something to think about based on your preferences.
1. NO TV downstairs. The downstairs living area is warm, (fireplace) and spacious great for family time and maybe watching movies. Unfortunately there is NO TV on the 1st floor. There is one in the loft are bu…

We loved the ideal location, downtown within walking distance and the quiet neighborhood. We cooked many meals in the amply-supplied kitchen and loved having dinner on the patio. The garage came in handy for our bikes and tubes. Appreciated the long driveway for all our cars plus room to toss a football. The beds were comfortable and the furnishings very stylish. Loved the many windows, high ceilings, roomy closets. We had 9 adults so the 2.5 bathrooms were a bit of a limitation and with only 3 r…
