Sushi on Second

Established in 1994, Sushi on Second at 260 Second Street holds the distinction of being the Wood River Valley's oldest sushi restaurant, and it hasn't rested on that reputation. The menu spans maki rolls, specialty rolls, sashimi, and appetizers including pot stickers, Cajun calamari, crispy trout, and baked green New Zealand mussels. Hot grill items—beef teriyaki skewers and yaki combos—round out the kitchen side. The large sushi bar, two private tatami rooms, and a full bar serving wine, beer, sake, and champagne create distinct dining experiences within one intimate space. Open Monday through Saturday evenings from 5:30pm.
