Screamer Speedboat Thrill Ride & Dolphin Watch
44-foot speedboat with spins and shoreline views
Ocean City, NJ | leisure | 1 to 3 hours
Since 1969 the Institute has used the salt marsh behind Stone Harbor as its laboratory and classroom, and its Stone Harbor Boulevard campus is the version most visitors know: an aquarium with a touch tank, seahorse and octopus, Terrapin Station turtle talks with Tuesday releases, an elevated walkway out into the marsh, a rooftop lookout with a 360-degree view, and naturalist-led Salt Marsh Safari boat rides and kayak trips in season. That campus is closed while the Salt Marsh Trail and habitat are restored ahead of a new building. From November 7, weekend self-guided visits run 9:30 to 4:30 at the NJ Coastal Conservation Center nearby.
