Laurel "Bud" Piggott and his wife Francis began the farm in 1949. Bud & Francis named the Farm, L.H. Piggott & Girls in honor of their six daughter who grew up helping operate the farm. Today the farm is operated by Bud and Francis' daughter Laurie and her husband George. Along with the third generation, their grandson George. The mission of L.H. Piggott & Girls farm is that same today as it was seventy years ago, to be excellent stewards of the land and its resources in order to grow the most delicious and nutritious fruits and vegetables possible. Come on out and visit our farm. We hope that trips to our family farm will become a tradition for your family.
