What Guests Say
★★★★★
We had a wonderful stay in Stowe! The house is exactly as described and on gorgeous property. The beds were some of the most comfortable we’ve ever slept on, the rooms were cavernous, and the house newly renovated with beautiful finishes. We really couldn’t have asked for a better home in Stowe. 10/10 would recommend!

We had an incredible stay! The condo was spotless and everything was in great condition. Proactive communication from the host gave us all the information we needed. The Tollhouse lift was open both days we were planning to be on the mountain so it was the perfect ski-in/ski-out location- super quick and easy to get to the lift. We ended up taking the shuttle back which brought us right to the entrance of the condo (but we could have easily skied back because the trails to the condo were open). It was great to leave our car in the condo lot and not have to worry about driving through traffic and parking at the mountain. We’d love to stay again!

What is your perfect winter day in Stowe?
Our perfect winter day in Stowe starts with an early morning coffee from Black Cap Coffee, followed by hitting the slopes at Stowe Mountain Resort. The trails are pristine, and the views from the top are just breathtaking. After a few hours of skiing, we take a break for lunch at The Cottage Café, where the cozy atmosphere and delicious food make it the perfect spot to warm up. In the afternoon, a leisurely snowshoe hike through the Trapp Family Lodge trails is a must; it's peaceful and offers a different kind of connection with the winter landscape. To end the day, we love to unwind with a relaxing spa treatment at the Lodge of Spruce Peak, and finally, enjoy a hearty dinner at Harrison's, where the local flavors really shine. This itinerary offers a mix of adventure, relaxation, and the best of what Stowe has to offer.
What is Stowe’s best kept secret?
Stowe's best kept secret is the Moss Glen Falls hike. It's a short, easy trail, but the reward is this stunning waterfall that's just magical in every season, especially in winter when it’s partially frozen over. Not many visitors know about it, so it’s often peaceful and uncrowded. It’s a hidden gem that offers a quiet retreat from the more popular spots in town.
What are your favorite rainy day activities in Stowe?
On a rainy day in Stowe, we love exploring the local art scene. The Helen Day Art Center is a great place to start, with its rotating exhibits that always have something thought-provoking. After that, a visit to Stowe Cider for a tasting is a must—you can sip on some locally crafted cider while staying dry indoors. For something cozy, we’d recommend curling up with a good book by the fireplace in one of our rental homes, or heading to the Stowe Cinema for a movie. Rainy days are also perfect for a spa day; the Spa at Topnotch Resort offers everything from massages to facials, perfect for unwinding when the weather isn't cooperating.
